'The East Room' was recorded in the Church of St. john the Baptist, Bishop's Castle, Shropshire, late winter 2006.

Far Black Furlong make experimental, ambient music that also draws on Folk, Drones, Classical and Electronica. Their music is based on live improvisation that is later edited and treated, and otherwise mangled.
